Owner, Instructor & Personal Trainer 

What started as a personal fitness journey turned into a lifelong passion for helping others believe in themselves. I’ve been part of RYB for over a decade — first as a member, then an instructor, and now as the proud owner. Over the years, this community has become like family, and I love watching people discover what they’re capable of.

I teach a mix of classes including SPIN, HIIT, Abs & Bottoms, Metabolic Conditioning, Power & Strength, and RockFit, each designed to challenge you, motivate you, and remind you how strong you really are.

My goal is simple: to create a space where everyone feels supported, encouraged, and capable of doing more than they thought possible. I’ve had times when I didn’t believe in myself — but one person’s belief in me changed everything. That’s why I’m here: to pay it forward, to lift others up, and to keep building the RYB community that has given me so much.

Erica

Instructor, Personal Trainer & Communications Manager

Erica began her fitness journey with Rock Your Body in 2013 and has been proudly teaching our community ever since. With over a decade of experience, she brings energy, expertise, and a passion for movement to every class. Erica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Merrimack College, along with AFAA Group Fitness and Personal Training certifications.

A lifelong dancer since the age of three, Erica fell in love with dance fitness, starting with Zumba Fitness. Since becoming an instructor, she has expanded her expertise to include a wide range of formats—from high-energy cardio to strength training and everything in between. She thrives on helping people push past their comfort zones, discover their inner strength, and build confidence through movement.

To Erica, this community is more than just a group of clients—it’s family. She believes in creating an inclusive, supportive environment where everyone can feel empowered.

Outside of the gym, Erica stays active with her two incredible rescue dogs, Pepper and Tilly. Whether hiking, swimming, or exploring all things dog sports, they keep her just as busy as her workouts do!

Destiny

Instructor

"I'm Destiny, a lifelong dance and fitness enthusiast who believes staying active is everything!  I love inspiring those to work fitness into their busy lives! My background includes teaching dance, acting and musical theater and leadership/administrative roles in the workplace. Finding RYB changed things... its members gave me a safe place to get back to myself, try things at my own pace and give balance to each week. I started with just one class! There's support for all fitness levels (beginner to advanced) to actually reach your goals through different styles... Our members are encouraging and feel familiar because we have a shared interest and want the best for one another. After becoming an instructor (2025), I created Bend & Breathe to offer balance & mobility. You may also find me leading a strength/core class! We have it all to help you accomplish the whole picture and to get the fitness experience you've been looking for. Making time one week at a time... See you in class!" 

 

~ Destiny works as a private daycare provider and lives in Fremont. She loves coffee, trying new restaurants and being in nature. Her family spends time together hiking, skiing & practicing archery. They enjoy lots of cuddle time with their Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Koiya (7) & Rosie (5).

Christy

Instructor

Hello! My name is Christy and I am so excited to be part of this awesome RYB community! I’m married with three kids and 2 dogs! I have a BS in Biology, a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition (FDN) Certification, ACE group fitness certification and a STRONG Nation certified instructor. Through the years, I have been so fortunate to learn from some incredible instructors and am excited to share that with all of you and continue learning! I am proud to be part of the RYB community and share the belief that fitness is for EVERYBODY no matter where they are in life and most importantly, it is never too late to start. I believe that health and wellness is a lifelong journey and not just about the number on the scale. It’s about being the best version of ourselves, being strong as we age, it’s about gaining confidence, meeting new people, motivating each other and having fun (and maybe a tiny bit of torture too)! I enjoy all types of classes from Kickboxing, Bootcamp, Dance, Strength, Yoga, HIIT and learning new stuff! We CAN do hard things! Let’s GO!

Melissa is currently taking a break from teaching while on maternity leave. We look forward to her return in 2026!
